“How did Ukrainian Peacekeepers Save Thousands of Civilians in Zhepa?” is a documentary film from “The Real History” series. In 1995, peacekeepers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out a UN mission on the territory of the Bosnian city of Zepa. The military, along with the civilian population, were trapped. But 79 Ukrainian peacekeepers took risks, showed ingenuity and resilience. Ukrainian soldiers managed to save thousands of civilians in Zhepa. The host of the program is journalist Akim Halimov.
