“Background: Deportation” is a documentary film by journalist Stanislav Jasynskyi about how Russia uses forced relocation as a method of conquering freedom-loving people. Today, while destroying Ukrainian cities and villages, the Russians are forcibly transporting hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians to Siberia and the Far East. The authors of the project talked with forced Ukrainian migrants who went through the hell of Russian filtration camps and were able to return to their homeland.
