“Background: Cancel Culture” is a documentary film by journalist Stanislav Yasynskyi about the role of culture during wars. A film about how the Russian Empire over the centuries chose the “right” writers, artists, musicians; promoted those who served the empire, and killed those who fought for national ideas. In order to finally destroy Ukraine and all Ukrainians, Russia must destroy Ukrainian culture and erase Ukrainian identity.
