"Heroes. The Village of Yahidne" — a special report about brave men and women who saved people in a Russian concentration camp. On March 3, 2022, Russian troops occupied the village of Yahidne in the Chernihiv region and drove all the residents into the basement of a school, turning it into a concentration camp. 368 civilians, including 69 children, were confined to 198 square meters for almost a month. People found themselves in unbearable conditions, there was not enough water and food, they had to sleep sitting up, it was very crowded and there was not enough air. The people were humiliated, tortured, and threatened. 10 old people died, and there were those who were shot by Russian executioners.
