"Konovalets Against the Soviet Union" is a documentary film from "The Real History" series. Yevhen Konovalets (1891-1938) — Ukrainian statesman, military and political figure, one of the founders of the organization of Ukrainian nationalists, fighter for the independence of Ukraine. Stalin declared a hunt for Konovalets, and Kremlin agents tried for years to catch him. NKVD agents killed Yevhen Konovalets and this led to fatal consequences. The host of the program is journalist Akim Halimov.
