"Why Does Moscow Hate Petro Sahaidachnyi?" is a journalistic investigation from the series “The Real History with Akim Halimov.” Petro Konashevych-Sahaidachnyi is still one of the Kremlin’s biggest enemies; Russians are destroying his monuments in the occupied territories. In 1935, the Bolsheviks destroyed the Epiphany Cathedral in Kyiv, along with the burial of Sahaidachnyi. Petro Sahaidachnyi was a brilliant commander and Cossack leader, on whose decisions the fate of three states depended — the Ottoman Empire, Muscovy and the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.
