“We Will Rebuild. Tax University. Irpin” is a special report. Irpin is a city near Kyiv that defended the capital of Ukraine from the Russian invasion. During the occupation of Irpin, the Russian military damaged the State Tax University. This educational institution is more than 100 years old. There were destroyed walls, broken windows, fragments of shells in the area and bomb holes in the asphalt. The building burned for three days. From the first days of the war, the university leadership and teachers prepared food for old and sick townspeople who could not evacuate from Irpin. Аpproximately 150 people lived there permanently, and about 700 temporarily hid in shelters.
