“We Will Rebuild. The Lysychansk Gymnasium” is a special report. On May 1, 2022, the Lysychansk gymnasium burned down as a result of shelling by Russian troops in the Lugansk region. It was built by the Belgians more than 100 years ago. It became one of the exemplary institutions and was included in the top 100 best schools in Ukraine. The gymnasium building withstood two world wars and the battle for the city during Russia’s armed aggression in eastern Ukraine in 2014. Unfortunately, the fire of the Russian barbarians burned everything in the gymnasium building, leaving only charred thick walls.
