The main rules of a real Pashtun are self-esteem, national pride, a good name, faith, perseverance, equality and badal, that is, revenge on one’s offender. Constant conflict and the need to defend their homes have shaped the warrior culture of the Pashtuns. Therefore, every local resident has a weapon, it is a source of pride.
