“The History of the Cossacks is Buried Under the Waters of the Kakhovka Reservoir!” is a documentary film from “The Real History” series. On June 6, 2023, the Russian army carried out a terrorist attack on the Kakhovska hydroelectric power station. This is a huge environmental disaster for the whole of Ukraine. This tragedy opens up the field for historians and archaeologists to study the history of the Cossacks, which Russia destroyed over the centuries. Once upon a time, this territory was sacred to the Cossacks and was called the Big Meadow. The host of the program is journalist Akim Halimov.
