Traditionally, Kupailo is one of the biggest holidays of the summer calendar cycle. The decline of which took place in connection with the introduction of Christianity, an attempt to hide its main content and influence the popularity of this action with prohibitions. Kupailo is one of the most energetically powerful and one of the most revered national holidays in the Ukrainian calendar. It was celebrated on the day of the summer solstice, which is symmetrically to Christmas.
