"Izyaslav and Slavuta" is a documentary film from the series "Ukrainian Palaces. Golden Age". The host of the program, Akim Halimov, will visit the cities of Izyaslav and Slavuta in Khmelnytskyi redion. He will tell about the incredible history of two palaces that belonged to the wealthy family of the Sangushky princes. The palace in Izyaslav was built for 15 years (1757-1772), it was called the second Versailles. Among the artistic treasures that adorned this majestic palace complex were medieval tapestries, ancient porcelain, paintings by Rubens, sculptures by Antonio Canove and even Michelangelo. Unfortunately, the Bolsheviks destroyed the palaces and estates in Izyaslav and Slavuta, brutally killed their last owner - the famous industrialist and philanthropist prince Roman Sangushka.
