"Palace in Kachanivka" is a documentary film from the series "Ukrainian Palaces. Golden Age". The palace ensemble, noble estate and park in the village of Kachanivka, Chernihiv region, was founded in the 1770s. A place of incredible beauty with a park of 700 hectares. 150 years ago, the most prominent people of that time came to Kachanivka, because then this place was one of the most famous for holding balls, dinners, and tea parties. Taras Shevchenko, Mykola Gogol, Ilya Repin, Mykhailo Glinka, Marko Vovchok were guests here. Host Akim Halimov will tell about the fate of the owners of the manor, Mykola and Vasyl Tarnovskyi.
